his week, in the wake of the worst winter the Delaware Valley has seen in recent years, the topic of discussion on the Home Matters Radio Show is Homeowner’s Insurance. Many of our neighbors throughout the region this year suffered damage to their homes. So understanding what does, or perhaps doesn’t cover certain damage to your home, may have sadly come as a shock to some of your friends and family.
Michael V. Goetz, agency owner of Allstate Insurance Agency in Yardley, PA joins us to talk about what coverage is best and how certain real-life tragedies can be coped with by having the proper coverage. Before he joins the show this Sunday, we would like to introduce you to a local resident and family man who appreciates the importance of this topic and really cares about helping the people his agency works with.
Michael V. Goetz became agency owner of an Allstate office in Yardley that had already seen 30 years of excellent service before his tenure began in January of 2012. Since that time, his agency has won multiple awards including the Allstate 2013 Honor Ring and National Conference awards, awarded in part due to adhering to the very highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Michael has a vested interest in the communities of Southeastern Pennsylvania, as a life-long resident and neighbor. Michael grew up in Northeast Philly where he attended George Washington High School and later graduated from Penn State with a BS in Business Management. He later graduated from Temple University with an MBA with a double major in Accounting & Finance. Michael holds a CPA certification from the State of Pennsylvania as well as property, casualty, life, accident and health insurance licenses as well as series 6 & series 63 respectively.
Before working with AllState, Michael worked in the automobile industry for over 20 years as a CFO for large multi-location dealerships.
Since 1996, Michael along his wife and 3 children, have resided in Jamison, PA in Bucks County.
Michael saw the harsh effects of this year’s winter weather firsthand and is eager to come on the show this week and offer his help in educating our listeners about the facts as it relates to homeowner’s insurance and making the decisions that are in you and your family’s best interest. Not to be cliché(well… maybe a little), but ‘you’re in good hands’ with Michael Goetz.
