Joe Dougherty was born and raised in Glenside Pennsylvania. He is a well-known practicing lawyer in the area. Joe has been in practice since 1977 and is a partner at the Dougherty & Eckel Law Firm in Glenside Pennsylvania since 1981 where he practices with his partner, Bruce Eckel who is the Solicitor for the Abington Township and Hatboro Zoning Hearing Boards. Joe earned a law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and received his LL.M. in Taxation from Temple University School of Law. His law practice concentration is in Real Estate, Wills and Estates, and Family Law.
Not only is Joe a Top practicing Lawyer in Montgomery County he also served as a District Justice in Montgomery County for 24 years, and was a Commissioner on the Abington Township Board of Commissioners.
