Randy Hope has spent 12 years as retail real estate broker advising regional and national retailers on expansion strategies throughout the mid-Atlantic region. During that time he spearheaded the roll out of numerous retailers including GameStop (110 locations), MetroPCS (65 locations), FedEx Kinkos (25 locations), and Planet Fitness (23 locations) in addition to numerous others. In addition to tenant representation, he consistently represented between 1.0 – 2.0 MM square feet of built and to-be-built retail property for leasing/pre-leasing. Randy has completed in excess of 400 lease/sale transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $300,000,000.
In 2010, he co-founded Panther Properties a Boston based multifamily development and acquisition firm with a focus on the southeastern United States. Since inception Panther has acquired approximately 4,000 Class A apartment units with total capitalization in excess of $360 MM. His area expertise was in sourcing off-market transactions, due diligence and development/management of investor relations. Panther sourced $110 MM of equity from high net-worth individuals, family offices, and small institutions. All funds were invested through SEC Reg D offerings. In 2013, the portfolio generated a 14.4% Cash-on-Cash.
At the moment, he is focused on developing single tenant net lease real estate, redeveloping shopping centers, and opportunistically acquiring high street retail property.
