Jeff HarrisJeff began his working career as a building contractor focusing primarily on residential and small commercial construction projects. He closed this business in 1988 to pursue a career in architecture. He graduated from Temple University in 1992 Magna Cum Laude with a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree.

For six years he worked his way through an internship and into a partnership with Todd Phillippi. In that time he worked on numerous commercial, institutional, and residential projects in the Philadelphia area. In 1998 he and his partner joined forces with John Whitehead and associates to create Whitehead, Phillippi and Harris Inc. For the next thirteen years he worked as the managing partner of this firm consisting of 15 to 20 people. This firm was responsible for well over 200 projects throughout the United States and Canada in sizes that ranged from several thousand to forty million dollars.

HouseIn recent years Jeff has opened his own practice that focuses on the residential and small commercial markets. In addition to his work as a designer, project manager, and managing principal his specific areas of expertise are in computer modeling, and rendering. He has worked as a consultant for a number of design firms as they upgrade their technology and attempt to make the transition from computer aided drafting (CAD) to parametric based 3‐dimensional modeling. All of his work is done in the latest 3‐D modeling software that allows his clients to better visualize the design and be an active participant in the design process.

Jeff has won a number of design awards over the course of his career including the John Stewardson Memorial competition, the Bucks County Chamber of commerce award for Historic Preservation, and the Staten Island Chamber design competition. He has been published in numerous national publications including Worship Facilities magazine, Design Cost Data, and Your Church. He holds an architectural license in 14 states, and is LEED Accredited Professional.
